Welcome to Santa Fe Wrimos, where the Santa Fe Wrimo participants can discuss the challenges of Wrimo, share stories and tools, and generally hang out.
This site will allow the Santa Fe Wrimos to more closely interact online by having its own forum and chat room, and by allowing participants to blog about their experiences and even share parts of their novel using the book feature.
You'll find tools for creating content in the sidebar under create content. Users are allowed their own blogs, can create books, add events and forum discussions.
Added some more easy navigation links to the sidebar.
Along the right hand side there are now quick links to the new and active forum topics. I know for now they look as if they're the same links, but once some topics stay active after they drop off the new list there will be some variation there. Also, if you have your mouse hover over a thread name it'll let you know how many comments there are.
The poll for best times for a TGIO party is also up. It'll run for 2 weeks, and then I'll put up a poll about options for locations or types of get togethers.
Finally, let me know if I break anything while adding or moving things around. Different browsers and screen resolutions handle things differently. So even though I try to check, it may slip past.
Keep those word counts up!
I'm sure that you've noticed that I'm still tweaking parts of the site. I'll try not to break anything, lol.
You'll notice that a shout box has been added. I figured that it would be a nice addition so that you can just drop quick messages, or let other online users know that you want to chat.
Also, don't be afraid to try out some of the different things on the site. In addition to the blogs, forums and chat you also have the ability to create book pages and add events.
As we get closer to the middle/end of the month I'll post a poll about the best times for TGIO parties. So make sure to check for that
I think that's enough site news for now.
